Caja del Rio Gravel Grinder – S.Fe Railyard Park (8am) Starting at the Santa Fe Railyard Park, roll out and explore the Caja del Rio on a 25 or 50 mile loop. Bring your gravel or cyclocross bike for a dirt road and singletrack tour of Santa Fe. Ladies AllRide Mini Clinic with Lindsey Richter – La Tierra Trails (9:30am): Professional mountain biker and skills instructor Lindsey Richter (Voreis) traverses North America in a sprinter van inspiring women to face fears, believe in themselves and get RAD on their mountain bikes! Complete with the best coaches in the business, these clinics bring women together in a welcoming environment to enhance their lives on and off the bikes. Ladies AllRide is a movement dedicated to growing the community of female mountain bikers across the globe. Come play on bikes with us! Bike Demos – La Tierra Trails (10am – 5pm): Ride the next mountain bike of your dreams at La Tierra Trails! The La Tierra Trails feature a variety of riding from easy rolling singletrack and “Hustle & Flow” to more challenging technical trails that will leave you breathless. Take a short ride in our shuttle van from the Santa Fe Railyard Park and leave the driving to us. Guided Rides – S.Fe Railyard Park (12pm, 2pm, 4pm): Outside Bike & Brew offers a series of introductory rides to our excellent network of single track led by the Santa Fe Fat Tire Society. This is your opportunity to ride with local cycling advocates who help build and promote cycling culture in our community. These rides are free with your registration. Tour de Brewer – Friday Route (10:30am, 11am, 11:30am): Tour de Brewer is one of the most popular cruiser rides at Outside Bike & Brew. Saddle up at the S.Fe Railyard Park for a round trip ride with stops at Rowley’s Farmhouse Ales, Duel Brewery and the newest Second Street Brewery location in the Rufina District. Cyclists will speak with head brewers and sample beers along the way. Ladies AllRide Education Station – Hotel Santa Fe (4pm): Lindsey and her coaches lead a good bonding time with rad ladies! Tire changing, rears are so hard!! Chain-breaking & single-speed making Nutrition – pre, post and during rides. Sugars, salts, proteins oh my! How to be ride ready every time – what to carry, how to use it, emergency scenarios. Even a CAMELBAK can save your life! Body positioning slideshow with Lindsey Blood Road Film – Jean Cocteau Cinema (4pm): Blood Road follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier. Santa Fe Glow Ride (6:00pm): Nite Ize and Velo New Mexico present the 4th annual community Glow Ride on Friday evening. This family-oriented ride will be a fun, safe way to cruise the park and around downtown Santa Fe. Join us at the Santa Fe Railyard Park at 6:00 PM at the Nite Ize booth to decorate your bike with LED and glow lights before we take off on our downtown cruise at approximately 6:30 PM. Kids 12 and under are FREE! The first 100 to register receive free glow lights from Nite Ize to decorate their bike before the ride. Register to guarantee your free bike bling.
