Winsor and Beyond Trail Ride – S.Fe Railyard Park (8:45am – 2pm): Bring your legs and lungs! This ride will take you on some of Santa Fe’s finest single track backcountry trails. We will start at the Railyard and ride about 3 miles of pavement to/from the Winsor trailhead. From the trailhead we climb up Tesuque Creek on the Winsor trail with various options for more mileage and vertical depending on the group pace. Magical History Tour (9:00am): A slow and easy bicycle ride through time and space, will focus on historic transportation alignments from the 20th Century, including the original “Mother Road” (pre-1937 Route 66) and the historic rail lines that began to disappear with its arrival, including the New Mexico Central Railroad, the Chili Line, and the not-so-active line to Lamy. Of course we would be remiss to leave out reference to Santa Fe’s three official” National Historic Trails” – El Camino Real, the Old Spanish Trail, and the Santa Fe Trail – which date to previous centuries. Ladies AllRide Mini Clinic with Lindsey Richter – La Tierra Trails (9:30am): Professional mountain biker and skills instructor Lindsey Richter (Voreis) traverses North America in a sprinter van inspiring women to face fears, believe in themselves and get RAD on their mountain bikes! Complete with the best coaches in the business, these clinics bring women together in a welcoming environment to enhance their lives on and off the bikes. Ladies AllRide is a movement dedicated to growing the community of female mountain bikers across the globe. Come play on bikes with us! La Tierra Poker Ride – La Tierra Trails (9:30am – 12pm): It’s a fun, un-timed, self-guided Poker Ride on singletrack! The marked course will highlight the best features of the La Tierra trails, including swoopy XC trails, the brand new Flow Trail and more. Collect playing cards at designated aid stations and assemble your best poker hand. Bike Demos – La Tierra Trails (10am – 5pm): Ride the next mountain bike of your dreams at La Tierra Trails! The La Tierra Trails feature a variety of riding from easy rolling singletrack and “Hustle & Flow” to more challenging technical trails that will leave you breathless. Take a short ride in our shuttle van from the Santa Fe Railyard Park and leave the driving to us. Tour de Brunch – S.Fe Railyard Park (10:30am – 12pm): For cyclists looking for a late-morning nosh, this tour includes stops at Ohori’s Coffee, CheeseMongers of Santa Fe and Barrio Brinery to check out how the local artisanal food scene is evolving. We wrap up the ride at HQ Santa Fe for some savory bites and a beverage. Tour de Brewer – Saturday Route (10:30am, 11am, 11:30am): Tour de Brewer is one of the most popular cruiser rides at Outside Bike & Brew. Saddle up at the S.Fe Railyard Park for a round trip ride with stops at Second Street Brewery, Blue Corn Brewery and Santa Fe Brewing Company. Cyclists will speak with head brewers and sample beers along the way with a tour of the new Santa Fe Brewing facility and a cold beer fresh off the canning line. Velo y Vino – S.Fe Railyard Park (11:15am – 2pm): Outside Bike & Brew has partnered with the La Casa Sena Wine Shop, CheeseMongers of Santa Fe and Four Seasons Resort Rancho Encantado to present this culinary cruise for those who prefer to enjoy a glass of fine wine and exceptional cuisine with a customized cycling experience. Guided Rides – S.Fe Railyard Park (12pm, 2pm, 4pm): Outside Bike & Brew offers a series of introductory rides to our excellent network of single track led by the Santa Fe Fat Tire Society. This is your opportunity to ride with local cycling advocates who help build and promote cycling culture in our community. These rides are free with your registration. Ladies AllRide Education Station – Hotel Santa Fe (4pm): Lindsey and her coaches lead a good bonding time with rad ladies! Tire changing, rears are so hard!! Chain-breaking & single-speed making Nutrition – pre, post and during rides. Sugars, salts, proteins oh my! How to be ride ready every time – what to carry, how to use it, emergency scenarios. Even a CAMELBAK can save your life! Body positioning slideshow with Lindsey Blood Road Film – Jean Cocteau Cinema (4pm): Blood Road follows the journey of ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the dense jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their goal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca’s father, a U.S. Air Force pilot shot down over Laos some 40 years earlier.
